Q: What does the API stand for?
A: API Control System Solutions originally started out as American Pneumatics Incorporated.  Management decided to change the company name in December of 2003.  The main reason for the name change was because in addition to "Pneumatics", API can perform electronic panel designs, PLC programming, HMI development, electrical installations...overall control system solutions.  "API" was kept due to the existing reputation in the industry.
